Here's a scripture that has really spoken to me lately. I want to pass it on as an encouragment to you.
Ecclesiastes 7:14
When times are good, be happy. But when times are bad, here's something to think about. God has made bad times. He has also made good times. So a man can't find out anything about what's ahead for him.

Crafts
If you know me at all, you know I am not crafty. I don't enjoy it, and I'm not really good at it. The other night, JT was just kinda having a rough time and I thought maybe we could do a little project together. So I remembered one of my favorite things from when I was a kid.
Did you ever scrape your crayons with a knife and put the little shavings onto waxed paper then iron the waxed paper together so it melts the crayons to make a beautiful design? Well, that's what we did, and here's our creations.

Romans 3:23
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23
Today we were sitting around the dinner table eating lunch. Joel and I were talking about church and Sunday school. I was saying to Joel that we had discussed Psalm 29 in Sunday school, and JT piped in and said:
"well in Romans 3:23 it says..."for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Joel and I just looked at each other. That will be a forever memory to me knowing that the Word of God has been placed in his heart. It really puts truth to the fact that what he hears is what comes out of his mouth.
This afternoon he was sitting on his swing set, singing praises that we sang in church this morning. "Hail, hail, Lion of Judah...How wonderful you are".
If it's that pleasing to us to hear our son speak about Jesus, how much more pleasing is it for our Heavenly Father? Something to think about.
Lord, let my words be pleasing to you.
Leaves
We don't have very many trees at our house, but the ones we have sure make it fun. JT loves to play in the leaves, as long as someone (me) rakes them in a big pile. So I rake, he jumps, I take a picture. I rake, he jumps, I take a picture. I rake, he jumps, I take a picture. You get the pattern, right? My quest for that "perfect" picture of him jumping into the leaves, in that perfect position takes many tries. I think I captured a good one though. What do you think?
Then there's this one. This kid is so darn cute, I can hardly stand it sometimes! Do you ever wonder when that tooth is going to come in? I took this same type of picture last year, and he was missing that tooth then, too.
